About Us
Shared Health Services has been providing wound care and
hyperbaric medicine services to our partner hospitals since 1996.
Some of our existing hospital contracts date back to the mid 1990s.
Our ability to maintain long-lasting hospital relationships make us unique in the wound care industry.
Initially, our historical roots grew out of partnering with hospitals to help them open and manage Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Centers. However, we quickly transitioned into assisting our partner hospitals with the development of Outpatient Wound Treatment Centers.
Over the past several years we have expanded our corporate management team to enlarge our wound care footprint by offering a tiered business model that allows our partner hospitals to maintain,
and frequently enhance, the quality and compliance of their
wound treatment centers while allowing them to retain more of their hard earned wound care dollars.
At Shared Health Services… Integrity is the cornerstone of who we are!
The core concepts of honesty, respect and trust set us apart in the
wound care industry. When a hospital partners with Shared Health Services they engage in a partnership across all areas of wound care. We prioritize their best interests, including a focus on compliance and quality, and are flexible to their specific needs, offering customizable wound care services and support to fit their operation perfectly.
Our management staff has worked with over 500 hospital partners
across the United States and has more than 100 years of
combined management experience. Furthermore, we hold ourselves to
a high standard and stay current with the latest research and
compliance regulations.
In fact, our President/CEO is a former Joint Commission Surveyor,
our Chief Medical Officer frequently lectures on the subjects of wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy throughout the United States as a faculty member with Wound Care Education Partners and our
VP of Clinical Services is the only nurse to have had an
article published in JAMA!
Additionally, we maintain membership in the American Association for Wound Care Management, the American College of Hyperbaric Medicine and the Undersea Hyperbaric Medical Society.
