Founded in 1996 by former United States Congressman and healthcare entrepreneur David Davis, Shared Health Services, Inc. is a full-service
provider of hospital-based Wound Care and Hyperbaric (HBO) Centers. We are
currently partnering with hospitals from Pennsylvania to Florida and from Kansas
to West Virginia.
Firmly committed to the orderly development of Wound Care and Hyperbaric
Medicine Centers, we deliver care and services in accordance with acceptable
standards of practice while using gold standard treatments and a comprehensive
approach to heal chronic wounds, help prevent loss of limbs, reduce incidence of
recurrence by utilizing a sound financial model for both the patient and our
contracting hospitals.
We bring well over fifty years of combined experience in the health care
industry, both in hospitals and home care, including the management of Advanced
Home Care, a multi-state company chosen by the National Association of Medical
Equipment Suppliers as National Medical Equipment Supplier of the Year.
Since its inception, Shared Health Services has developed and managed successful
Wound Care and Hyperbaric Centers for many hospitals. Now, after the Federal
Registry's 2002 decision to remove HBO from the "new technologies" category and
award it a stand-alone APC, the clinical and financial benefits of Outpatient
Wound Care and HBO Centers have increased in potential, and Shared Health
Services is contracting with more and more hospitals nationwide.
